AIMS This Week - June 19, 2025
MyScheduling release one progress
Since launching MyScheduling to some health system employees, payroll was successfully processed on June 3 with no reported issues. Between June 1 - 7, 88 per cent of employees successfully validated their time within the approval timelines.
The project team is supporting about 50 requests a day related to historical edits, leave cancellations, managing average hours, inconsistent vacation accrual pay, and overtime pay.
The project team is working through:
- overtime shift bids not posting for about 60 employees,
- quick dial absence request errors affecting about 10 employees, and
- continuous improvement work required to support business structure changes, including missing data around master rotations, schedules, rules, jobs, and positions.
What people are saying about release one
- “Everything seems to be coming together. The system is self-explanatory, thanks for all your help so far.” – Health system employee
- “Looks quite different than a few years ago. Thank you for making our lives easier.” – Lorna, Director
- “I have really enjoyed the collaboration this transition has brought. My fellow team members and MyScheduling Champions have been so helpful and supportive. The features are very easy to use and intuitive once you get the hang of things!” – Carly, Administrative Assistant
- "The new layout makes it easy to find my task. My departmental AIMS champion was incredibly helpful, and I feel more confident navigating the platform each day." – Lindsay, Administrator
Release two updates
With the continued risk of forest fires and return-to-home for some communities in northern Saskatchewan, employees in the former Mamawetan and Keewatin Yatthé health regions will experience go-live for MyScheduling at a later date.
Employees at Providence Place and in-scope employees within the former Kelsey Trail health region are proceeding with their targeted go live on July 2. Providence Place is a unique site with a mix of complex scheduling needs in one location, which will further help prepare scheduling teams of what’s to come when others start using the system.

Question of the Day
We’re sharing a “Question of the Day” on the AIMS info page with the answers to the most common questions being asked.
Question: How do I enter my on-call/stand-by for the whole week, rather than just one day?
Answer: If you are entering your own "on-call or stand-by" through premiums, the system only allows you to enter it up to the current date. If you are on-call until Sunday, enter your final premium on Sunday and then submit your timesheet. If you need assistance entering your premium, refer to KB0012625.
Tip: Your manager or their delegate can enter on-call/stand-by shifts for the entire week directly via Schedule Editor, so they appear on your schedule in advance. They can refer to KB0013447, starting at step 20. Once scheduled, all you have to do is validate the entries when submitting your timesheet.
Find more helpful tips in "Questions of the Day" on the AIMS info page.
Did you know?
When an out-of-scope employee deletes a vacation request in MyScheduling, regular hours must be re-entered back. The system will not complete this request automatically.
