Renewed Facility Infrastructure
A lot of construction progress has been made since announcing the new 80-bed long-term care home in La Ronge in July of 2023. Footings have been poured and walls for the foundations are starting to take shape. This will be the largest long-term care home in Northern Saskatchewan.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) thanks the La Ronge and Area Long-Term Care Funding Committee for their philanthropic efforts in raising funds for the furniture, fixtures, and equipment for this new home. Together, let’s make this new building a home!
Once complete, SHA staff will welcome existing and new residents into their new home. Completion of the new long-term care home is expected by 2027.
