SHA Library
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) Library supports SHA staff, physicians and students by providing them with:
- Access to evidence-based resources, online and print
- Full-text articles and interlibrary loans
- Evidence searches
- Journal and subject alerts
- Mobile apps
- Individual and group education and training
- Citation management, copyright advice, and research support
- Quiet study space
Resources funded by the Saskatchewan Health Information Resources Program (SHIRP) for all licensed healthcare practitioners are integrated into the SHA Library Collection for ease of access. Financial support for the collections has also been received from the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Foundation, Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation and Royal University Hospital Foundation. SHIRP also contributes to specific salaries in Prince Albert, Saskatoon and Regina.

Students also have access to resources provided by their academic library. Our collection supplements the students' academic library's resources.
Patient resources are available in selected facilities and health information can be provided to patients upon request. Members of the public should contact HealthLine 811 for general health information. Consumer health resources are also available at the public libraries throughout Saskatchewan.
